19.09.2007, 16:44 12

Romtelecom, the largest fixed telephony operator on the Romanian market, expects to see the strong expansion of its business clients division, which was launched when the company's management team changed in the spring of this year. The operator is currently looking for over 100 people for its Executive Commercial Division, with jobs in marketing, sales, product management and call centre departments.
After focusing on individual clients since the beginning of the year, the operator announced a new product dedicated to corporate clients, which will be available from October 15. Companies that choose the "Flat fee" call plans will be able to make local and national calls within the network at the flat rate of 0.027 euros / minute (VAT exclusive), irrespective of the time of day. On the same date, the operator will launch 18 plans for fixed telephone services, brought together under the name "Flat Fee", which will be available at smaller fees than the list price until January 15 next year. The list price for call plans ranges from 13 to 180 euros, but in the above-mentioned period, they can be had for smaller fees. For instance, the 13-euro call plan is available for 10 euros, and the 180-euro call plan for 150 euros.
According to the operator, flat fee plans allow for up to 46% cheaper phone calls within the Romtelecom network.
"The companies using Romtelecom services require flexible and competitive fees for their communications services, which enable them to communicate with their business partners and their clients (...)," said Romtelecom's executive commercial manager for the business segment, George Makowski. He took over his new position in May, when Yorgos Ioannidis took over the position of CEO in February, from the American James Hubley, and appointed the operator's new executive management team.
