Piraeus Bank Romania, the domestic subsidiary of the Greek bank, saw 1.73m euros in nine-month net profit. According to data released by bank officials, total assets have increased more than 32% since December 2002, to 139.679m euros. The total volume of granted credits amounted to 89.477m euros, up 35% since the end of last year. According to the bank's president Emanuel Odobescu, the financial results are in line with the bank's strategy.
