Aviva invests in stock and properties

Life insurance company Aviva launched two new investment programmes for unit-linked policies at the beginning of this month: Imobilis and Practic Max. Imobilis, which is denominated in euros, is the first investment programme created by a Romanian insurance company to invest the insured clients'' money on the real estate market. According to Aviva representatives, the fund will invest both on mature markets in Europe and on markets in countries such as Poland, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Bulgaria and elsewhere. Investments will focus on residential properties in central city areas or on residential complexes in holiday areas. The degree of risk of the Imobilis investment programme ranks between medium and high. The second programme launched by Aviva, Practic Max, denominated in RON, will invest equal amounts in shares listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange and in bonds (government, municipal and corporate bonds). Aviva also manages two investment programmes in RON: Practic and Practic Plus. ZF
