Miorita Videanu, wife of the capital's general mayor Adriean Videanu, says she has received a few "strong" offers for the six-hectare plot of land of the Titan Mar plant in Bucharest, where a real estate complex is planned for development. "We considered either selling this land or developing a real estate project together with a partner/associate. We have not decided yet which variant to choose, but we are analysing a few good offers," said Miorita Videanu in an interview for BUSINESS Magazin weekly, which will be published today. At the end of this year, the Titan Mar company, held by the Videanu family, will clear the 6-hectare plot situated between the Cotroceni Palace and JW Marriott and re-locate to Chitila. At the moment, the Videanu family is expecting offers for the land. If they decide to sell, the sum collected could be as high as 100 million euros, while if they opt for a partnership the land could be utilised for a 500 million-euro investment project. The land is located between Cotroceni Palace and JW Marriott and covers 60,000 square metres with 1,000 square-metre frontage.
